I'm Manuel Rodriguez, the founder of Mile High Welding and Fabrication, and my journey in welding and fabrication began over two decades ago. In 2000, I attended Wyoming Technical Institute, where I learned the fundamentals of welding and earned my 6G certification in MIG and arc welding. My passion for craftsmanship led me into the world of custom fabrication, working on classic and custom cars—everything from sheet metal shaping to full chassis fabrication.
After graduating, I spent three years refining my skills at a small fabrication shop before advancing to one of the largest fabrication facilities in Colorado. Over the years, I've worked on a wide range of large-scale projects, from fabricating handrails and fences for professional sports stadiums to welding gas, steam, and chiller piping systems for major casinos and hotels.
In 2007, I took on a critical role with the City of Denver, where I was responsible for welding and repairing cracked and fractured traffic signals—helping to maintain the safety and reliability of the city’s infrastructure.
